Therefore, the flotation of scheelite is also facing enormous challenges in the process of utilization of tungsten resources [ 15 ]. Flotation reagents are the key to improving flotation indicators. The most important flotation reagents are mainly collectors [ 16, 17 ], depressants [ 18, 19] and regulators [ 20 ].Leave Us Now

is carried out in alkaline medium, adjust slurry PH value in 9 ~ 10 by the sodium carbonate, sodium hydroxide. Common inhibitors are sodium silicate, tannin, various phosphates. Collectors have sodium oleate, tar oil and oxidized paraffin, etc.
· In general, flotation is the common method for the separation of scheelite from calcite, which is well documented Filippova et al., 2014, Feng et al., 2015. Separation of scheelite from calcite is extremely complex due to mineral surface properties, i.e., their high surface reactivity with anionic reagents Somasundaran et al., 1985.
A method for recovering by froth from a slimey low grade tungsten ore pulp containing calcareous minerals other than , such as calcite, apatite or fluorite, and siliceous gangue which comprises agitating said ore pulp at a strongly alkaline pH for at least 5 minutes with an energy input of at least 25 hp. hr./ton in ...
In this work, the adsorption behavior of Pb-BHA complexes on the scheelite surface was studied by flotation experiments and adsorption capacity measurements, and the structures of the adsorbed Pb-BHA complexes were determined using X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy XPS and time-of-flight secondary ion mass spectrometry TOF-SIMS.
Micro-flotation and contact angle results showed that the adsorption of calcium could inhibit the hydrophobicity of scheelite and fluorite. Moreover, sulfate could enhance the inhibition. FT-IR results showed that calcium could be priori precipitated into calcium oleate and adsorb on mineral surface.
